Pick a crafting profession and a skill range. The calculator builds a 1–300 path from the real skill-up ranges in the WoW Forever game files and adds up the materials.

How it works

• Yellow and grey numbers come straight from the game files: when each recipe turns yellow and when it stops giving skill.
• Craft counts are estimates. Between yellow and grey we use the long-standing community formula: chance = (grey − your skill) ÷ (grey − yellow). Recipes you know from the start count as guaranteed until they turn yellow.
• Most recipes are taught by a recipe item (Recipe, Pattern, Plans and so on). The item's skill requirement in the files is used as the learn level, so the recipe counts as orange (a guaranteed skill-up) from there until it turns yellow. Steps that need one say which item. Where each item drops or is sold isn't in the files; use Skip to swap out a recipe you can't get. Recipes with no item and not learned with the profession are only used once yellow.
• Camp features are left out: they share a 1-hour cooldown. See Camping.
